Many times, we talk about keeping emotions out of the workplace. For better or worse, however, humans are emotional beings. By addressing emotional topics with frankness and tact, training professionals can do their companies a service.
Conflict, for example, is laden with emotion. When people are in conflict, their ability to think clearly decreases. They also lose their capacity to be fully creative and focus on solving problems. If feelings run too high, they can take over.
