Matthew is an engineer who recently turned 68 years old. He formally requests a meeting with his boss to discuss his career plan for the next five years.
Stewart, the department’s manager, receives Matthew’s request. He is astounded and shocked because it was completely unexpected. After a while, he asks himself why Matthew wants a career plan when he should be making a retirement plan and whether Matthew feels capable to continue advancing in his career.
