Moving from Pedagogy to Andragogy in Corporate Training

Twenty students sit in a classroom, silently observing. The instructor stands up front, behind a podium, going over key points on a PowerPoint. Over the next two hours, the teacher’s voice is the only one to be heard. The teacher describes every key point in detail, while the students sit and take notes. With five minutes left before the end of the class, the teacher asks if there are any questions. No hands are raised.
