Erin Murphy is the Senior Manager of Membership and Chapter Strategy for the Association of Talent Development (ATD) in Alexandria, VA, where she focuses on driving strategic initiatives, creating opportunities for synergy and alignment, and providing support and resources to nearly 100 ATD chapters across the U.S. Prior to joining ATD eight years ago, Erin served as the Manager, Chapter Relations, for the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada), and led a pilot program for the DC Metro Chapter at the Association of Fundraising Professionals. 

Erin has worked in the non-profit sector for more than ten years with previous experience in the political realm serving as an intern in the Office of  Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and the Office of Bridget Prentice, a member of the House of Commons in London. Erin received her Master of Business Administration from American University in 2015. She graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a minor in Media Studies.
