ABOUT ME

I am always excited at any opportunity to teach and coach others when exploring different concepts and ideas. That’s what drove me to training.
I began my career as a graduate assistant training students in Electrical Engineering up to the diploma level. I specialized in training Electronics, Engineering Mathematics and Solar installation, preparing learners to use these technical skills to implement programs and projects identified in Kenya's Vision 2030. I also mentored young adults as they navigated college and transitioned to the work environment. I progressed to faculty program coordinator where I managed a team of trainers to secure high-quality teaching, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.
Fascinated by adult learning I proceeded to corporate training. As a learning and development professional, I devise training strategies and facilitate training from new employee onboarding, refresher training on company processes to leadership coaching for employees seeking higher levels of responsibility. I enjoy assisting others to achieve their career goals while simultaneously realizing company objectives.
I am eager to connect with other professionals in Learning and Development. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives. Reach out if you would like to talk about emerging tech in L&D, adult learning theory or creating spectacular instructional material.
