Unconscious biases can get in the way of decision making.

More than 150 unique biases naturally exist in our brains, whether we are aware of them or not. They are a result of ongoing evolution as our brains adapt over time. Unconscious biases do not make us bad people; they are normal. However, overcoming the challenges associated with unconscious bias determines the difference in our behavior.
